SpookWave
The whole studio is buzzing with excitement as your team prepares to launch a new video series that's slated to propel the company to new heights. However you can't shake the feeling that you are missing out on a few key details, so it's up to you to do initiate some good old fashion office talk.
'SpookWave' is a single-player, narrative focused, first person game that takes place inside the small but successful online video production studio 'SpookWave'.
**DEVELOPER NOTE** When the game ends there will be a pop-up error that displays on the screen. Simply refresh the page and it will go away. We are working on fixing this bug.

Not sure why this is running at like 5 FPS, but this is incredibly well done! I wish you guys could have added more stuff to the game after the jam though... I would seriously love to see a full game out of this someday. :p
Thanks for playing our game! I'm glad even after all this time it still has charm people see something special in it. Can't speak for my co-dev but I am definitely interested in coming back this project in the future and seeing what form it would take with my much better programming skills. That may be far off though since I have a few personal projects I want to finish first before retreading old ground.
Regarding the performance issues, I honestly have no clue. Maybe the game is experiencing code decay? I do not have access to the final build that was uploaded to see what's going on with that. Apologies.
Glad to hear that, and I hope you do! The video below also has some issues, so I guess it might be because of browser or something... I remember some devs talking about performance issues like this, but who knows.
It might be silly but have you tried closing other tabs? A friend if mine brought up that computers tend not dedicate much processing power/cores to internet tabs since they are usually low intensity. Even if there is an embedded game.
Yeah, I even installed Thorium to see if that would help lol. It's not much of a issue though, I was able to play the game and that's what matters the most. I just thought I'd let you know about this issue... Unless you're not having it, that would be weird. xD
Thanks and good luck with future releases. ;p
Really love the graphics/design and the way the character walks around! Nice story too.
This was great! The graphics, setting and characters are really fun and it's very intriguing. Love a 2-minute mystery!
I like the character designs and hope to see more like this. Nice subtle creepy vibe overall till the end.
Love it!!
